Today was like any other day. As of course I was dragged from my heavenly, soft, delightful bed. I felt aching, tired, I had not gotten to bed last night till 11: 46 pm. I had to finish the essay that I had procrastinated so long. I didn't honestly care about them, frankly I wouldn't care if it passed for a -C, and I really didn't expect it to. So after dragging my self into the rainy, cold, and somber shower, I just sat there on the shower floor.
I thought about how up until now my life had been going down hill. I just let the water fall, not really caring that in five minutes a family member would bang on the door yelling for a turn. I pondered on how every thing seemed to go wrong for me, my grades had been flopping, friends were angry at me for some annoyed out burst that I had done. I only did it because it felt like they just kept asking and asking and asking for some thing or another.
Sure enough the thump on the shower wall came, and I changed and ventured out of the bath room to proceed in my dismal life. My parents were busily watching the news, and cleaning the stain off the floor from last night. I just silently got a piece of bread with butter and gathered up my things for school. I look at my binder, and sure enough I had forgotten my weekly essentials for the third week in a row. I didn't care, and I slumped it all into my back pack. I went to the door and sat on the freezing steps. My car pool would arrive in a few minutes. They always came at least five minutes late. I had been late for home room almost all that week.
Well, I thought, just another bad thing on my list of troubles.

It was a bit like how Lemony Snicket writes. It was just so miserable it kept me reading. It's amazing how that works.
