Here are some books and my rating for them (the ratings are out of 5 stars):
My Sister's Keeper ***** This gripping book about a troubled family (one child has cancer antoher is sueing her parents and the last is a juvinile delinquent) is one of my favorite books personally. Be careful, before reading this book be sure you are okay with cussing and very sad moments.
The Golden Compass**** I have not yet finished this book but it has me gripped so far. A young goes on an adventure to another universe in order to find her friend.
The Earth, My Butt, and other Big Round Things**** This book is about a teenage dealing with the fact that she is overwight in a perfect skinny family. She is the outcast and the book shows you what she goes through. Its funny but also gets you thinking.
A-List****If you thought you had it good think again. The story of a young hot and rich s in LA is very entertaining. Zoey goes to live with her dad and hooks up with a hot guy. She ends up getting confronted by this guys ex adn thats just the begining. This boook is a great for any . I didn't like its abrupt ending though.
Bound* This is a book I dont reccomend to anyone. This story that takes placein China is.. well like The Good Earth if that tells you something. The book left me bored and confused. I give this book a very poor rating.

the golden compass has a bad ending. i finished it recently.
the third book is the one w/ the sad / bad / mad ending.
it is like they (lyra and ???? for those of you who havent read the whole series) can't be together and it is really depressing
